Synopsis:
The film "Directing Peace" deals with 15 Arab and Jewish teenagers raising a play, and follows the process, starting with auditions, first rehearsals, their consolidation as a group, their activities after rehearsals, the intense work, the premiere and the days that followed. Filming began in September 2005 when Eilat Mancini (36), began looking for actors for a play he wrote - "Children of the Stones", which takes place in a mixed neighborhood of Jews and Arabs, where the young people are able to create a common language, while the adults teach them hatred and destruction, all eventually ending in a horrible murder.
